What is MCP?

MCP is the way AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude and Cursor connect to the apps you use. Once Jotly is connected, your assistant can do more than answer questions: it can actually work on your size charts for you.

You ask in your own words, the same way you'd ask a colleague. The assistant takes care of the rest in Jotly and tells you what it did.

• Hours of clicking, done in one message. Changes that mean opening chart after chart in the app, like adding a section to every size guide, take one request.
• No need to learn the app. You don't need to know where a setting lives. Describe what you want and the assistant finds it.

These are example conversations. Your assistant uses the names and numbers from your own store.

Set it up in about 2 minutes

1. Add Jotly to your AI assistant. In ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor, add Jotly as a connector using the link from the Jotly app.
2. Get a connect code. In the Jotly app, open AI Assistants, click Connect next to your assistant and generate a one-time code.
3. Approve and start chatting. Enter your store domain and the code, click Allow access, and ask your first question.

Follow the step-by-step guide for your assistant:

Safe by design

• No deleting, ever. Your assistant can create and update size guides but can never delete one. Deleting is only possible in the Jotly app.
• Drafts by default. A size chart the assistant creates is saved as a draft unless you ask for it to go live.
• You approve access. A connect code works once and expires after 10 minutes. Without it, no assistant can reach your store.
• One connection, one store. A connection only ever sees the store you approved it for. If you have several stores, you choose which one.
• You stay in control. Connections last 30 days and renew in one click. Each teammate connects their own account, and you can disconnect at any time.
• Same rules as the app. Everything the assistant does follows your plan and the same rules as making the change yourself in Jotly.
